This is a static (or motionless exercise) where you assume the same position you did to do a push-up on the ball (with your arms straight out). Hold in that position for as long as you can or a count of 60 then relax. Repeat this for 3 sets total.
There's a lot of bias out there against messy desks. If you're not neat and organized, your coworkers might make assumptions about your capabilities-and even worse, your boss might criticize you for it. But is it really that bad to have a messy desk? And is being organized really as good as we all think? Here are five reasons why a messy desk might be a positive thing.
Everything's in front of you. People with messy desks may actually be less prone to procrastination. That's because your papers are all in front of you, not filed away in a filing cabinet where they'll be easy to forget. Your desk may be messy, but at least you can see at a glance what needs to get done.
Consider buying an in-out tray. This will make it easier for you to deal with paper work. This is particularly true if you have a L-shaped computer desk. You have the monitor on one side plus a mouse and keyboard nearby. Using an in-out tray will keep the papers away from your computer making it easier for you to move around and keep paper and computer work separate. Having this kind of tray will also make it easy for you to organize and prioritize paper work. Should co-workers need to send you stacks of paper, they will have an area to put it and an area to pick up finished work.
